The Employee Referral Rewards Program supports recruitment efforts for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), Licensed Laboratory Professionals, and Licensed Radiology Professionals by encouraging NewYork-Presbyterian employees to refer qualified external candidates to eligible hard-to-fill positions.
Key Features:
When an employee refers an external candidate who is hired as a Licensed Laboratory Professional, Licensed Radiology Professional, or CRNA, NewYork-Presbyterian will reward the team member with up to 2,000 Appreciation Points, which the team member can redeem for their gift of choice.
How It Works:
If the candidate is hired, you will receive your referral reward in accordance with the program guidelines:
- Referring employee must be listed at time of application.
- Talent Acquisition will follow up with the identified employee via their NewYork-Presbyterian email account to verify the referral source.
- All managers and above, as well as Talent Acquisition team members, are excluded from receiving the referral reward. Only active NewYork-Presbyterian individual contributors and supervisors are eligible to participate in the referral program to receive a referral reward. Supervisors may refer outside of their cost center and span of control. Talent Acquisition employees or any other employee that may impact the hiring decision are not eligible to participate.
- The following candidates are not eligible to be referred:
- Current NewYork-Presbyterian employees
- Former NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP) employees who separated from the organization within the past three (3) years
- Temporary, contract, or agency workers who worked at an NYP location within the past three (3) years
- Clinical students who rotated at an NYP location within the past three (3) years
- The team member responsible for the referral must be an active NYP employee at the time of reward distribution.
- All candidates will be evaluated for employment consistent with NYP’s policies and procedures, and all information regarding the hiring decision will remain strictly confidential.
- Appreciation Points are distributed in two equal payments. Half will be distributed within 30 days of the referred hire’s start date, and half will be distributed after the new hire’s first six (6) months of continuous employment. Part-time positions are eligible for half of the maximum reward amount, and per diem positions are not eligible for referral payment. The reward amount is distributed through the NYP Awards & Recognition Platform, Together We Will Appreciate.
